Geilo is a national park village beautiful situated in a valley with mountain rangers on each side. Nature means a lot to people up here, and therefore they do a lot to preserve it. By creating experiences on the nature's premises they can keep the magnificent nature intact while keeping their livelihood growing – tourism. Geilo is covered in ice and snow during wintertime and these natural sources can be used to a lot of activities which you can experience on your own or together with family and friends during IceMusicFestival.
There will be a range of different activities outside the festival, but they all have a couple of things in common – ice, snow, nature and norwegian tradition. So wrap yourself up in your warmest clothes and join the IceExperienceGEILO 2012!
